3. Community Guidelines
TrueLove runs on one principle: be genuine, be respectful, be safe. These rules apply to profiles, photos, chat, and any in-person contact that starts on TrueLove. Breaking them can lead to content removal, account restrictions or a permanent ban.
1. Be yourself
- An avatar is optional. If you upload one, use a recent photo of yourself with your face clearly visible; a default avatar is available without an upload.
- Be truthful about your age, relationship status and what you are looking for. If you are married or have a partner, you must say so on your profile.
- Do not impersonate anyone or use photos of celebrities, stock images or other people.
- One person, one account.
2. Respect others
- If someone does not reply or says no, stop contacting them.
- Do not send unsolicited nude or sexually suggestive images.
- Do not harass, abuse, threaten, intimidate or humiliate anyone.
- No hate speech based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability or age.
- Do not write demeaning exclusions on your profile, such as insults aimed at an ethnic group. Stating your own partner preferences is fine.
3. Zero-tolerance conduct
These are serious violations which may warrant an immediate restriction or permanent ban and, where appropriate, a lawful referral to authorities:
- Any sexual content involving minors, or use of the Service by anyone under 18.
- Asking users for money, transfers, gift cards or cryptocurrency, or promoting investments or gambling (romance scams, including "pig-butchering" schemes).
- Threats to anyone's safety, or promoting violence or self-harm.
- Sharing someone's intimate images without consent, or threatening to.
- Human trafficking, sex work solicitation or any form of paid companionship.
- Stalking, or using information from the app to harass someone offline.
4. Protect privacy
- Do not publish or forward other users' personal information, photos or chats.
- We recommend not putting your phone number, home address, WeChat ID, workplace or other contact details on your profile.
5. No commercial activity or manipulation
- No advertising, promotion, steering users to other platforms, or soliciting customers.
- No scripts, bots or automated tools to run accounts.
- No buying, selling or mass-creating accounts.
6. Reporting and blocking
- Tap "Report" on any profile or chat, choose a reason and add details.
- We restrict access to reports and ordinarily do not identify reporters to the person reported, subject to lawful disclosure and unavoidable inference.
- Blocking stops you both from seeing or messaging each other.
- In an emergency, call 000 first, then report to us.
- Repeated malicious or clearly false reports are themselves a breach.
7. How we handle reports
Reports are triaged by urgency. Credible imminent danger, minors, non-consensual intimate images and sexual violence take priority; scam, impersonation and harassment reports are reviewed as capacity permits. We may seek context, remove a dangerous item promptly or apply temporary limits pending review. An outcome may be an educational warning, a content restriction, a temporary suspension, a permanent ban or no action where evidence is insufficient. For appeals email support@shantechsolutions.com and identify the account and decision; the team will explain next steps where reasonably practicable. We do not guarantee a fixed response time without a published, adequately resourced service level.
8. Transparency
We may publish aggregate safety transparency reporting when reliable metrics and privacy safeguards are available.
9. Enforcement quality and vulnerability protections
We treat reports of stalking, coercive control, extortion, non-consensual intimate images, minors, sexual violence and credible threats as high priority. We may temporarily restrict an account to protect potential victims while investigating. False positives and malicious reports are possible; we assess available evidence proportionately and offer meaningful review when lawful. We do not guarantee a particular 24-hour response unless an adequately staffed operational service level is in place.
10. Privacy, enforcement evidence and external help
Reports and evidence are shared internally on a need-to-know basis. We may preserve material subject to legal obligations, fraud controls or valid orders; lawful disclosure to authorities may occur. Reporters should not assume absolute anonymity. In immediate danger call emergency services first, rather than waiting for the platform response.
