Australian free release · Email and password sign-in. Paid subscriptions, VIP, group winks and social sign-in are not available in the free edition. Future-feature policies apply only when those features are introduced.
1. Terms of Service
Welcome to TrueLove (金玉良缘) ("TrueLove" or the "Service"). The Service is operated in Australia by SHAN QUANTUM TECH PTY LTD (ABN 27 687 853 130, ACN 687 853 130) ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, our Community Guidelines and, where relevant, our Subscription and Refund Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. The Service
1.1 TrueLove is a platform for adults seeking friendship, dating and long-term relationships.
1.2 We provide profiles, recommendations, likes, fixed positive greetings, chat, reporting and blocking. The first release is free; any later paid feature requires separate price and purchase disclosures before a charge can be authorised.
1.3 We are not a marriage agency. We do not guarantee that you will find a suitable partner or any particular relationship outcome.
2. Eligibility
2.1 You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering this agreement. The Service is not directed to children. We may restrict access if we reasonably believe age or eligibility conditions are not satisfied. We do not imply every user is identity-verified, background-checked or safe to meet.
2.2 You must not use TrueLove if law prohibits your participation, or you are currently suspended or banned without our written permission. Material deception about identity, age, relationship status or intentions is prohibited. You must disclose a marriage or committed relationship accurately when asked.
2.3 We may require proportionate age or identity evidence where necessary for safety, fraud prevention or law; any additional document collection and retention will be disclosed before it occurs. A profile photograph alone does not prove identity.
2.4 We may immediately restrict suspected under-18 accounts, assess the concern and delete or preserve limited information as required for safety or law. Users should report suspected minors to support@shantechsolutions.com.
3. Registration and your account
3.1 The free first release supports email-and-password registration and sign-in. Apple, Google and Facebook sign-in may be introduced in a later release after separate notice. They are not available entry points in this release. If enabled later, each external login is optional and subject to its provider’s authentication terms.
3.2 One person should maintain one TrueLove dating account. If external sign-in is introduced, different provider email addresses, including Apple’s Hide My Email relay, may belong to the same person. We do not automatically merge accounts merely because email addresses appear similar; linking requires appropriate authentication or verified ownership.
3.3 You must provide accurate account and profile information. Uploading an avatar is optional and is not a condition of entering the main app. If you upload one, use a genuine photograph of yourself; one visible avatar is allowed, with a replacement potentially retained while it is reviewed. There is no member photo album in this release. Approval is not a government identity check.
3.4 Keep account credentials and any later linked-provider access secure. Notify support@shantechsolutions.com promptly about compromise. We may sign out devices or lock an account temporarily to contain a verified security incident.
3.5 Accounts cannot be sold, shared, transferred, leased or operated by automated agents without prior written authorisation.
4. Your conduct
4.1 You must follow our Community Guidelines and all applicable laws.
4.2 You must not: harass, threaten, stalk or harm anyone; impersonate anyone or use a false identity; ask other users for money, investments or gift cards; post sexual, violent, hateful or illegal content; share anyone's intimate images or personal information without consent; advertise, solicit or run pyramid schemes; scrape data or operate accounts with automated tools; or interfere with or attack our systems.
5. Your content
5.1 You keep ownership of the photos, text, profile information and messages you post ("User Content").
5.2 You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, display, reproduce, reformat (for example, compress images) and transmit your User Content, only as needed to operate the Service.
5.3 This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for records kept for safety or legal reasons under our Account Deletion and Data Retention Policy, and copies of messages other users have already received.
5.4 We will not use your photos or messages in advertising, or to train artificial intelligence models, without your separate and express consent.
5.5 You confirm that you have the right to post your User Content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
6. Moderation and safety
6.1 We may review reported profiles, images and messages using proportionate automated tools and/or trained reviewers, subject to the processing actually deployed and described in our Privacy and AI Policies. Private messaging is not an unconditional promise of end-to-end encryption.
6.2 Measures may include warnings, removal of material, visibility limits, temporary restrictions, suspension, permanent closure, preservation of necessary evidence and lawful referral to competent authorities. Safety-critical cases may require immediate action without advance notice.
6.3 Reports are assessed against available evidence and context. A report alone does not establish wrongdoing. Deliberately fabricated, repetitive malicious reports are prohibited. We do not guarantee the identity of a reporter will never be inferable or legally disclosed.
6.4 You may seek an explanation or human reconsideration of a significant restriction by contacting support@shantechsolutions.com. We aim to give a fair opportunity to present relevant context, subject to urgent safety, privacy and legal restrictions. The route and timing will be shown in the notice where practicable.
6.5 We do not promise continuous staffing, a police investigation, identity verification of every user, or that automated flags are always accurate. Our legal duties and consumer rights are not excluded.
7. Paid features
7.1 Core features are available without charge during the initial free phase. If and when premium memberships or one-off digital features are introduced, their description, price, billing channel, renewal and cancellation conditions will be disclosed before purchase and our Subscriptions, Billing and Refunds Policy will become operative for those purchases.
7.2 Digital purchases inside the iOS or Android app will use an app-store payment system or an authorised alternative where available and properly implemented under the applicable store and local rules. No separate website card-payment channel is offered in this release. A future payment channel will be identified and explained before it is introduced; listing a future capability does not activate it.
7.3 Premium entitlements do not guarantee matches, replies, dates, relationships or priority treatment of safety reports. Nothing removes non-excludable consumer guarantees.
8. Interactions with other users
8.1 You are responsible for your interactions with other users, both online and in person.
8.2 We do not currently conduct criminal background checks and cannot verify everything users tell us. Please read our Dating Safety Guide and take sensible precautions when meeting someone.
8.3 This clause does not exclude any liability we have under law, or our obligation to act against users who break the rules under clause 6.
9. Intellectual property
The TrueLove and 金玉良缘 names, logos, app interface and software belong to us or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer or use them commercially without our written permission.
10. Changes to the Service
We may update, change or discontinue features. If a change materially disadvantages you, we will give reasonable advance notice. If we discontinue a paid feature, our Subscription and Refund Policy applies.
11. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Limitation of liability
12.1 To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss caused by other users' conduct, third-party services, or events beyond our reasonable control.
12.2 Where the law allows us to limit our liability for a consumer guarantee, our liability is limited to supplying the services again or paying the cost of having them supplied again.
12.3 Nothing in this clause limits liability for our fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
13. Indemnity
If a third party makes a claim against us because you breached these Terms or infringed their rights, you must compensate us for our reasonable resulting losses and costs, except to the extent caused by our own fault.
14. Ending your account
14.1 In the app, open Me → Settings → Delete account and complete the confirmation and recent identity-verification steps. You can also request deletion without the app at https://shantechsolutions.com/truelove/delete-account/ or by contacting support@shantechsolutions.com. We may ask for proportionate evidence of account ownership; never email your password or verification code.
14.2 Deleting an account is different from cancelling an independently billed auto-renewing subscription. Where premium is activated, manage recurring billing with the original store or payment provider, following the purchase-screen instructions.
14.3 We may terminate or restrict accounts under our safety processes. Any prepaid entitlement, refund or remedy is governed by the purchase terms and non-excludable consumer law; termination does not automatically remove lawful refund rights.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms. We will give at least 14 days' notice of material changes by in-app notice or email. If you keep using the Service after a change takes effect, you accept it. If you do not accept it, you may delete your account.
16. Governing law and disputes
16.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
16.2 If a dispute arises, please contact support@shantechsolutions.com first. Both parties will try in good faith to resolve it within 30 days.
16.3 If it is not resolved, either party may bring proceedings in a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction in New South Wales. This does not affect your right to complain to NSW Fair Trading or another consumer protection agency.
17. General
17.1 If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the rest remains in force.
17.2 If we do not enforce a right, we have not waived it.
17.3 These Terms are available in English, Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese. If the versions differ, the English version prevails.

19. Matching and communication expectations
Matching, profile visibility and ranking may change due to preferences, activity, blocks, moderation and system capacity. Being shown a profile does not indicate that person endorsed you, was recently active or consented to contact outside the Service. Sharing a message or photograph does not transfer its ownership to a recipient. Communications and in-person arrangements remain subject to mutual consent and the safety rules.
For the free v1.0 client, once the corresponding service release is available, every eligible account may send up to 200 successful text messages per Australia/Sydney calendar day, with no lifetime ten-message paywall. Each message is limited to 50 counting units: Chinese characters and punctuation count individually, while a continuous Latin-letter/number word counts as one; the composer shows the applicable count. There is a separate limit of 200 fixed positive greetings per day, containing only like/interest signals and no free text or custom template. Quotas do not override blocking, matching, safety or other eligibility rules, and are not a right to contact someone who has declined. The new free allowance does not take effect in an older service version merely because this policy is published.
20. International access and local protections
We operate from New South Wales, Australia. If we make the Service available in other countries, additional mandatory privacy, safety, consumer or language requirements may apply. Nothing in these Terms removes protections that cannot lawfully be waived in the user's jurisdiction. Region-specific supplementary terms will be published before a new regulated feature or market is launched.
21. Notices and policy hierarchy
Service notices may be sent in-app or to the verified account email. Security notices may be sent without marketing consent. The Privacy Policy governs personal-information handling; the Community Guidelines govern behaviour; the account deletion policy gives operational details; and the Subscriptions Policy governs a specific paid transaction once activated. In a conflict, mandatory law prevails. The three translations are intended to be equivalent; the English wording is the reference text only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
